In memory of Dr. Antun Bonifacic.
Dr. Bonifacic was a published Croatian writer and intellectual. For many years he held the function of the President of the Croatian Liberation Movement. A peaceful and intellectual organization started by Dr. Ante Pavelic, for the Freedom for Croatia Movement. The United Croats of Canada (UKHa) were branch members of that movement.
He translated many books from Croatian to English. He wrote for the magazines Hrvatsku Reviju and the newspapers Nezavisnu Drzavu Hrvatsku, Hrvatski Radnik, and Hrvatska, among many American papers as well. He was a communist target most of his life. At one point, they even bombed his home.
