In memory of Professor Dr. Tran Anh  (1921-1969)  
 
Professor Tran Anh is a medical doctor. He is a professor at Saigon Medical University.  Doctor Tran Anh graduated with a Master's degree in anthropology from France.  He is the President of the Saigon Anatomy Institute.  He is one of five members of the Board of Directors of Saigon Medical School.  
 
At the same time, he is also the Director of the Military Medical School of the Republic of Vietnam and  President of Saigon University.  He was assassinated by a terrorist group, a communist special gang in the inner city of Saigon while walking  home from work at medical school.  
 
He was shot dead with a gun in front of the gate of Chu Van An High School on Minh Mang Street,  The area of “Nga Sau, Cho Lon”, on the afternoon of March 4, 1969 at the age of 48

Le professeur Tran Anh est médecin. Il est professeur à l'Université médicale de Saigon.  
Le docteur Tran Anh a obtenu une maîtrise en anthropologie en France. Il est président de  l'Institut d'anatomie de Saigon.  Il est l'un des cinq membres du conseil d'administration de la faculté de médecine de Saigon.  
Parallèlement, il est également directeur de l'École de médecine militaire de la République du Vietnam et  Président de l'Université de Saigon.  
Il a été assassiné par un groupe terroriste, un agent spécial communiste dans le centre-ville de Saigon  alors qu'il se promenait rentrer du travail à l'école de médecine.  Il a été abattu avec une arme à feu devant la porte du lycée Chu Van An sur la rue Minh Mang,  La zone de "Nga Sau, Cho Lon", l'après-midi du 4 mars 1969 à l'âge de 48 ans.  
 
 
 
 
 
Tưởng nhớ Giáo sư Bác sĩ Trần Anh  (1921-1969)  
 
Giáo sư Trần Anh là một bác sĩ y khoa. Ông là giáo sư giảng dạy tại Đại Học Y Khoa Sài Gòn.  Bác sĩ Trần Anh tốt nghiệp thạc sĩ nhân học tại Pháp. Ông là Chủ tịch của Viện Giải phẫu  học Sai Gòn.  Ông là một trong năm thành viên của Ban Giám Đốc Trường Y Khoa Sài Gòn.  Đồng thời ông cũng là Giám Đốc Trường Quân Y Việt Nam Cộng Hòa và  Viện Trưởng viện Đại Học Sài Gòn.  
 
Ông bị ám sát bởi nhóm khủng bố, đặc công cộng sản nội thành Saigon khi đang đi bộ  về nhà sau giờ làm việc ở trường y khoa.  Ông bị bắn chết bằng súng trước cổng trường trung học Chu Văn An trên đường Minh Mạng,  Khu vực “Ngã Sáu, Chợ Lớn”, vào buổi chiều ngày 4 tháng 3 năm 1969 ở tuổi 48.
